Action research was conducted in Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 532. Overall background of the participants of the project; area/school: (socio-economic status, occupation/profession earning trends of majority of the parents, literacy rate, academic quality, and any other special trait of the community where the school is situated) (10 marks)
- Background of the Participants:
The participants of the study were grade 5 who were enrolled in Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 332. The participants of this study belong to Semi urban areas. It involves one class consisting of 30 students. Most of the participants were quite helpful and were matured enough to understand the purpose of myresearch. Their class room environment was not sufficient for effective learning. Most of their parents have middle economic level, so their study was not fully financially supported by their family. The students curiosity in the research led to their over excitement regarding the task and interview. As a result the teachers at times found it difficult to maintain order among the students. Majority of participants faced problems in mathematics problems due to different reasons which I discussed in my resarch.
- School Area:
Project School was Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 532. School building that contains 18 classrooms. According to the school record, there are a total of 445 students in numbers. The total staff of that school was 15, including the principles and the teachers. This school system has been appreciated by members of the nearby people, as well as by parents, teachers and other respective members of the community. Quran Majeed was taught since the third class. The school area belongs to the rural area. There is no computer lab or computer and there is no library available for students. The school environment also represents the market within which a school and its leader must position themselves. The pedagogical approach of the school is to teach the skills and abilities with the student as a center and aims at the integral development of the students. Separate playgrounds for upper and lower school students are located next to the upper and lower school buildings. All areas and buildings of the school are clearly signposted and the signs are accompanied by a simple illustration that represents the purpose of the area or building. Children are assigned seats in classrooms and rotated each quarter to encourage and facilitate peer exchange and modeling. The school recently renovated the school building. The location of this school is far from the main street. Each classroom shows a list of school values, class rules and a blackboard that shows the learning structure of each day. It makes the teaching and learning process situation work well because the situation is conducive and comfortable. The implementation of the research was carried out from Faburary to April 2022.
- Socio-Economic Status, Occupation/profession and Earning Trends of Participants Parents
I found that large majority of households were living in joint family system and the rest of them had neuclear and extended family. Most of the students resided in “Packa” houses. Then, more than half of the students’ parents belonged to the high-income group and less than a quarter of the students, belonged to the low-income group. A small number of parents of students were landless farm workers, businessmen, government and private employees. The socioeconomic background of the students was upper middle class. A considerable number of the parents of the participants simply knew how to read and write. His parents were progressive in education, but they were still far from higher education, which is so important today to create a knowledge-based society. The number of parents of the participants was dedicated to government services, as well as private services, respectively. Parents have high expectations of their children. They show considerable participation in their children’s studies by providing facilities for studies and encouraging them.

Reasons of Selecting This Specific Sub-Theme and Topic
I select this topic because I want to develop collaboration among children of grade 5 through motivation in Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 532. Also there are many factors which are responsible for selecting this specific sub-theme and topic. Since last year I observed that in my class students were irrespoble. Such situation enforced me to conduct a study about effectiveness of collaboration of students approach.
Background of The Project:
Student collaboration occurs when students take an active role in their learning by recognizing they are accountable for their academic success. Student collaboration is demonstrated when students make choices and take actions which lead them toward their educational goals. demonstrate academic integrity and honesty (John, 2018).
Students have the right to learn and to be free to express their opinions, feelings and ideas. They also have the collaboration to work hard, to do their best, to complete assignments and to respect others opinions, feelings and ideas. Students have the right to be happy and to be treated with understanding and respect. They also have the collaboration to respect others, to treat them with understanding and not to hurt their feelings. Students have the right to hear and be heard and the right to quiet times for learning and studying. They also have the collaboration to listen to others, to wait their turn to speak and to be respectful of others quiet times. Students have the right to be safe and secure in school (Fangy, 2018).
Students have the right to bring their belongings and materials to school and the right to utilize school materials. They also have the collaboration to respect others right to safety, to treat others with the same kindness they would expect themselves and to obey school rules. They also have the collaboration to look after their own possessions, to respect other peoples property and to use and share school materials in an appropriate manner. Students have the right to learn in a mutually respectful and safe environment. Students should also be aware that performance in the last years of high School is the key to university admission (Sara, 2019).
Social media is a technique that allows students to explore realistic situations by interacting with other people in a managed way in order to develop experience and trial different strategies in a supported environment (Maier, 2002). Social mediaing is a learning structure that allows students to immediately apply content as they are put in the role of a decision maker who must make a decision regarding a policy, resource allocation, or some other outcome.
Social media pedagogy has been shown to be effective in reaching learning outcomes in three major learning domains: affective, cognitive, and behavioral (Maier, 2002; Rao & Stupans, 2012). By making students take on the role of another person, they practice empathy and perspective taking (Rao & Stupans, 2012).
Academic collaboration implies the competent performance of academic duties and obligations and the commitment to support the responsible exercise of academic freedom by others. Academic collaboration implies the faithful performance of professional duties and obligations (Hidayati & Pardjono, 2018).
Rationale of the Study
The rationale behind this action research was to improve the students collaboration for academic success. Personal collaboration leads to academic success of students and school at a lrge. To achieve the desired success in life it is the person collaboration. If one does not take collaboration for himself or herself, he or she will never be successful in anything he or she plans to achieve.

Discussion With Colleagues/Friends/Supervisor
I told them that this study will provide information for parents, educators and school administrator about collaboration of students and its impact on their learning.
I discussed with my colleague, friends, senior teachers and his supervisor regarding my study objectives. Firstly I enlisted the students collaboration as given belwo:
- Student demonstrate academic integrity and honesty.
- Student attend and participate in classes, labs, and seminars, prepared and on time.
- Student complete the assigned work in a timely manner with attention to quality of work.
- Student avoid making excuses for their behavior.
Further in this regard my friend suggested that children who are confident and have healthy self-esteem are the ones who are more likely to find success later in life. By using motivation, we are making our children feel good about themselves; especially when they have done something right. My supervisor recoomended that being responsible: makes your life better. When you do what you have promised, people see you as a responsible and reliable person. This boosts a person’s self-esteem and self-worth. For an employee they’ll soon find they’re given tasks and assignments of higher importance, ultimately leading to raises and promotions.

Review of Literature
According to Brummel et al., (2010), motivation is defined as pretending to be someone else or pretending to be in a specific situation that you are not actually in at the time. An example of motivation is when you pretend that your friend is your boss and you have a practice conversation in which you ask for a raise. A social media area is a fun and a ‘playful’ activity but also a key component in children’s learning. It is a social space that develops speaking and listening skills, as well as giving children the opportunity to reflect on and develop their knowledge of a topic, whilst sparking and enhancing creativity and imagination.
Bhojane (2019) admitted that student life is Golden Life. It is generally considered that students life is golden life because it is the most crucial part of the life of an individual. Students play a significant role in managing their schools and classrooms. Student collaboration occurs when students take an active part in their learning by recognizing they are accountable for their academic success. There are some roles & responsibilities of a students that should and need to be performed in school during school life.
As children play, they develop fundamental cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Young children also learn practical life skills such as dressing themselves, how to cooperate, and share with others. Playing is a child’s way of engaging, and pretending creates alternate realities to the real world (Hango, 2019). It’s most useful for helping you prepare for unfamiliar or difficult situations. You can also use it to spark brainstorming sessions, improve communication between team members, and see problems or situations from different perspectives.
Heick (2019) defined that collaboration is a duty or obligation to satisfactorily perform or complete a task (assigned by someone, or created by one’s own promise or circumstances) that one must fulfill, and which has a consequent penalty for failure. collaboration is an important value to teach because no one can succeed in life if they are not responsible. Without collaboration, they will leave things undone and get in trouble. Therefore, this is an important value to teach children.

- Children learn to empathise with others; taking part in a social media activity would usually mean that you are taking on the role of character which will teach children about the empathy and understanding of different perspectives.

A number of recent innovations in school discipline appear to be aimed at increasing students’ sense of collaboration, but go about it in con#icting ways. For example, some educationalists argue that in order to promote collaboration in children, teachers need to develop clear expectations for student behavior and then judiciously apply a range of rewards and recognitions for good behavior and punishments for misbehavior (Hart et al., 2018).
Hamid (2017) said that students spend a definite period of the life in educational institutions to gather knowledge. This period of life is called student life. It is the seed time of a mans life. During his period a student has some important duties to do. He should prepare himself for the struggle of life. He should be careful about the proper use of this period of life. A student is free from all cares and anxieties of life. Regular study is the main duty of a student. He should read his books attentively. He should do his home-tasks and class- tasks regularly. He should listen to what his teachers say and note down everything. He should make the best use of his time. He should acquire knowledge of every kind and equip himself with requisite qualifications for his future life.
Lewis (2001) results indicated that teachers are seen by students to react to classroom misbehavior by increasing their use of coercive discipline, which inhibits the development of collaboration in students and distracts them from their schoolwork. Unfortunately, teachers fail to increase their use of more productive techniques, such as discussions, rewards for good behavior and involvement in decision-making. Every student should make their discipline and be obedient in any way of life. It will be great for their future. At every path of life, they have to maintain their duties and responsibilities.
Sandy (2018) recoomended that being responsible makes students life better. When you do what you have promised, people see you as a responsible and reliable person. This boosts a person’s self-esteem and self-worth. For an employee they’ll soon find they’re given tasks and assignments of higher importance, ultimately leading to raises and promotions. Every student is bond complete him home assignments and notebook with in time. If these things are completed’ then the result would be negative in the form of repentance of a student. But these removers would be useless.as you have heard.
Dani (2020) suggested that student must be punctual and regular as well and should pay proper and continuous attention towards his final goal. Student should be considered equally important on all subjects and it is the moral duty of every learner that he should provide proper respect and reverence to his teachers. It is universal reality that all of us have been created by the sole creator of this universe; Almighty Allah.one man leads different roles in one’s life. One of them is the role as a student. This age period is considered the golden period of man’s life. As it is well known that this period demands some special duties for the success of student. Some important obligations of student are describe in the coming lines.

Responsible behavior
Responsible behavior is made up of five essential elements honesty, compassion/respect, fairness, accountability, and courage. Let’s take a look at each one. Honesty the old saying is true honesty really is the best policy.

Motivation
Motivation is the desire to act in service of a goal. It’s the crucial element in setting and attaining our objectives. Motivation is one of the driving forces behind human behavior. Motivation encompasses the desire to continue striving toward meaning, purpose, and a life worth living.
Social media
Social media are interactive technologies and digital channels that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, interests, and other forms of expression through virtual communities and networks.
- What did you want to achieve in this research project? (05 marks)

Objective/Purpose of The Study
Research objectives are more focused than reseasrch problems. The objective of academic research, whether by sociologists, political scientists, or anthropologists, is to try to find answers to theoretical questions within their respective fields. In contrast, the objective of applied social research is to use data so that decisions can be made.
The study was guided by four specific objectives. The specific objectives of the study were as follows:
- To check students awareness about their academic collaboration
- To examine the role of teacher in improvement of students collaboration
- To give some suggestions on how to improve students collaboration to enhance their academic performance at secondary level
- Developing collaboration through role play among students of grade 5
Critical Question
The study was guided by the following research questions:
The research questions are based on research objectives. The research questions deal with more detailed aspects of statement of the problem. Answers to research question are resulted from the analysis of the information (data) collected and contain knowledge of patterns, rule, and regularities of the object being studied. To achieve the mentioned objectives, I tried to answer the following questions:
- Does collaboration of students have any importance for students academic achievements?
- What is the role of teacher in improvement of students collaboration?
- How to improve students collaboration to enhance their academic performance?
- Who were the participants in your project? (05 marks)

The study participants were grade 5 students who enrolled in Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 532. One more problem was that they cannot understand the problem statement or the statement of the question written above the equation. They all had different academic problems. I got to see a lot of different activities these days. During these three occasions, I saw behavioral problems, especially when the teacher advised or asked to participate. The teacher advised the next class of activities because they wanted to create a poster based on the book or philosophy. Students listened while this was happening, which caused many students to re-ask what the next class would bring to the end. I took notes of the student and the teacher’s activities and tried to avoid contact with any student or teacher during the observation. The overall performance of all students (participants) was not adequate in collaboration of students compared to other sub-skills. Most of their parents have a middle-income family, so their study has the full financial support of their family. Participants were 40 students from the same age group of 6 to 8 years. The larger the age indicates the maturity level of the individuals in that sense, the more important the age to test the response.

This answer presents the methods that were employed to achieve research objectives. The answer is structured into research design, location of the study, target population, sampling techniques and sample size, research instruments, of the instruments, data collection and data analysis.
Action Research
In schools, action research refers to a wide variety of evaluative, investigative, and analytical research methods designed to diagnose problems or weaknesses whether organizational, academic, or instructional and help educators develop practical solutions to address them quickly and efficiently. Classroom action research was separated into two cycles; they were cycle I and cycle II and each cycle contained of four interrelated activities, specifically: Planning, Action, Observation and Reflection. It was crucial to reminder that early reflection was normally used in a classroom action study. Plan is prospective to action, action is deliberate and controlled, observation is responsive, reflection is evaluation to make it apparent, and the design of present classroom action study would be described as follows. In the present study, data collection was based on following steps.
Method of The Study
The methodology of this research was comprised on an action research to found out and solve the problem. Observations were used to collect the data needed to provide the information and insight necessary to answer the research questions.
Population
The entire group from which a sample is chosen is known as the population. All the students who were enrolled in Government elementary school was population of this study. It was quite convenient for me being a teacher of that school and a resident of Attock to accumulate quality data from the chosen school.
Sample
Sample is smaller representation of large whole. Generally, it consists of some of the observations that represent the whole population. In the existing action research grade 5of were grade 5 students who were enrolled in Government primary school Chack Jindo No. 532 was sampled for this study.
Sample Size
The numbers of observation included in a sample is called size of sample. The 40 students of the grade 5 were selected for this class based action research.
Research Instrument
Interview schedule is referred to formal meeting between the respondent and the interviewer. In this technique a number of questions were designed according to the requirement and relevancy of researcher being conducted.
Ethical Considerations
Ethical Considerations can be specified as one of the most important parts of the research. Research participants should not be subjected to harm in any ways whatsoever. Respect for the dignity of research participants should be prioritised. Full consent should be obtained from the participants prior to the study. Permission was granted by the Education Department for this study to take place at the school where I was teaching. The rights of the participants (grade 5 students) were spelled out clearly i.e. they could refuse to be audio recorded and they could demand to see any notes or recordings.
Collection of Data
Data collection is the process of gathering and measuring information on variables of interest, in an established systematic fashion that enables one to answer stated research questions, test hypotheses, and evaluate outcomes. I collected data through well-structured research tool (Interview schedule).
Action Research cycle
Plan
The teachers and researchers collaboratively planed the based-game learning as follows: understanding of rank number, symbol of rank number, invention of the concept of rank integers, properties of rank integers, solving the problems of non-routine rank integers, and the lesson plan:
a.Setting up a game-based learning materials for the second cycle;
b.Preparing lesson plans, students worksheets, mathematics games and competency tests;
c.Group in the first cycle was maintained with hopes of liveliness and increased student learning outcomes inline with expectations;
d.Preparing the necessary learning tool.
Action
After the planning was completed, then the researcher carried out an action. In step first I discussed about action research. Total 40 students were selected by mutual consult with teacher. I interviewed them according to the given instruction. Checklist is collected, after all the students had filled it. Checklist is attached as evidence in Annexure.
Observation
The activity of students in the first cycle was as follows: The students listened to the teacher, asked questions, answered questions and argued about the learning process. Moreover, five students had a very good level of activity about collaboration of students. However, it still needs to be improved, because teachers pay less attention to students who experience difficulties in learning.
- 8. What kind of instrument was used to collect the data? How was the instrument developed? (05 marks)
(For example: observation, rating scale, interview, student work, portfolio, test, etc.)
Data used to evaluate the instruction strategies was collected through formative assessment, observation and summative assessment. The students of The Shaheen Public School Hub were selected for this class based action research. Each strategy received a one unit time frame, which generally worked out to a two week period. The first day of each unit a complete chapter test was be administered. The score of these assessments was converted to a percentage mean for the whole class and compared on an individual basis with mid-chapter assessment scores and the chapter summative assessment scores. Unit formative assessments consisted of several lesson quizzes given the day after formal instruction on the quiz content had been completed and only after a session of homework correction and teaching. Copies of all assessments were kept to allow for comparison among content areas as determined by the lesson designation printed in each section of each assessment. These were used to determine any changes in performance as related to each lesson area. For example, I observe a child misbehaves in a classroom; some other students might give them extra attention or even hone the student. Children quickly learn that by acting out, they can gain attention from the teacher or even acquire objects that they want. In this case, a better solution would be to use honesty when the child is displaying good behavior. Instead of rewarding the misbehavior, the teachers would want to wait until the child is behaving well and then reward that good behavior with praise and treats. Study results to compare the two strategies it was necessary to find a way to measure the efficacy of each strategy for the class as a whole. The researcher chose to compare growth in scores from the pretest to the final test. A mean of this set of differences was calculated for each strategy as was the standard deviation for each. The justification for comparing the two strategies in this manner was that this measure quantified the growth students made during each strategy and provided a clear picture of how consistently this growth was seen over the population (as shown by the standard deviation).

The major findings of the project are listed below.

Suggestions
Every student should make their discipline and be obedient in any way of life. It will be great for their future. At every path of life, they have to maintain their duties and responsibilities. Students, teachers and parents must work together. Each has responsibilities and a role to play. Students will be more successful with their learning by being responsible, participating, and having a positive attitude.

Student collaboration is demonstrated when students make choices and take actions which lead them toward their educational goals and demonstrate academic integrity and honesty.
Purpose of the Study
- To explore the importance of collaboration of students for students academic achievements
- To give some suggestions on how to improve students collaboration to enhance their academic performance
Process of Data collection
I used an active research methodology for existing research. I used observation, group interviews, questionnaires and field notes to gather data. A series of close-up questions were used to obtain information about learners’ discipline and teaching strategies for educators. A survey was conducted by interviewing them directly in their free time at school. All information was collected through an interview schedule (questionnaire) of study objectives. Copy, analyze and then discuss the recorded data. The head teacher introduced me to the class teacher. I assured them that this study is the sole purpose of writing a research project and that the data collected will be considered to the maximum. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM SPSS Statistics 22) Program used for data inspection, data transformation and analysis.
Findings of the Study
I found a following major findings such as most of the students attending their classes on time and regularly. Being prepared for classes with all necessary supplies. Taking good care of school property. Completing all homework assignments. Organizing their time well. Respecting themselves and others. Reading on a regular basis. Doing their best

Feeling about this Practice/Action Research
Action research provides me a structured process for customizing research findings, enabling educators to address specific questions, concerns, or problems within their own classrooms, schools, or districts. I had mixed feelings with research. I was bit nervous and somewhat curious to learn action research. I attend all of the meeting to reach 80% attendance to learn about how to do action research effectively. My experience regarding current research was informative. In this regard my respective supervisor helps me a lot. Since I began my teaching practice, I have been using as many creative tasks as possible, not only strictly to improving students students collaborations. The student generally has to understand the objectives and learning outcomes of a study course. Active participation of the students is required. A student is expected to be involved in interactions with students and teachers alike in any class discussions. In this way a student will go a long way in retaining what they have learnt. Keeping oneself motivated is one of the prime collaboration of a student. The thinking faculty of the brain has to be tickled alive. In this way they can associate practical aspects while learning a new idea or concept.
Self-Reflection
Results were obtained from observations, and the result of the evaluation in the first cycle was used as guidance to discover whether it would be appropriate for the target or necessary to improve the organisation of learning in the second cycle to obtain better results.
As educators, its natural to want our classrooms to reflect students success. We ensure students have clear directions and deadlines for their assignments, plenty of resources to support their learning, and feedback to guide their progress but while were supporting student success in the short term, we also need to have an eye toward the long term. After all, when students leave our classrooms, we want them to have the toolsand the driveto keep learning throughout their lives.
A newfound focus on personalized learning and educational technology is helping educators equip their students for a lifetime of learning. By emphasizing personal collaboration, teaching self-motivation, and empowering students role in the classroom, educators can guide their students to discover who they are as learners. Read on to learn how creating a classroom culture of collaboration helps students develop a positive approach to learning in school and beyond.
This means that in addition to accepting collaboration for a poor grade, students should develop a plan to improve their work much like they would be asked to do as adults cited for sub-par employee performance in the workplace. Accountability breeds collaboration, and students who develop the tools to target and improve their academic shortcomings will, in turn, develop the skills they need to go far in life.

Action research is a self inquiry which is done by people in a field in order to analyze their own problem and to seek the solution as well. a form of self-reflective inquiry undertaken by participants in a social (including educational) situation in order to improve the rationality and justice of (a) their own social or educational practices, (b) their understanding of these practices, and (c) the situation in which practices are carried out. This action research helped me to maintain classroom management through effective discipline practices for effective mathematics skills. I learnt that using effective collaboration of students techniques will help children avoid conflict with others in a school setting and in their everyday lives. It will also strengthen children’s beginning empathy skills and help them learn more positive attributions about another person’s intentions. This classroom action research helps me in investigating problem encountered in class and finding the solution.This research provides me with data from my own experiences and my own students. From this practice Im able to solve the students problems using collaboration of students. Now I can identified, process and solve the problem. Action research driven my professional development and makes change manageable. Action research helps me focus on one aspect of their practice they would like to improve. This is the meaningful evidence that I need to be able to tell other stories. This study added my professional skills as trainee teacher that Every student should make their discipline and be obedient in any way of life. It will be great for their future. At every path of life, they have to maintain their duties and responsibilities.
